Eastbury & Moor Park Community Food Donations

Volunteers working for Coronavirus Community Help (soon to be called The Neighbours Connective) are supporting Three Rivers District Council to fill Emergency Food Boxes.

Thanks to the local communities donations the volunteers have also been able to support the following places with food; Michael Sobell Peace Hospice, Hillingdon and Holywell food hub, Watford New Hope Trust, NHS and local care home staff and other charities.

Thank you to our generous residents and local businesses for supporting this initiative, including Wenzels for providing crates used for transportation, Tesco in Pinner Green for their donation of food, and Batchworth Community Council for an emergency grant.

Items Needed (no fresh/refrigerated food) Priority -​Pasta sauce, instant or microwave food (rice pouches, pot noodles, pasta pots, cup a soup), long life bread, baby milk formula, pet food, toothbrushes, soap Staples ​- Rice, pasta, flour, tea, coffee, sugar, cereal, cooking oil, long life milk Tinned Items -​Soup, baked beans, lentils, vegetables, fruit. Confectionery -​Biscuits, cakes Toiletries -​Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, sanitary products, face/body cream, shower gel, nappies, toothpaste Household -​Washing up liquid, washing powder/tablets, cleaning products, toilet roll

Scammers have been very active of late by email, text and now phone such as: claiming they can arrange covid vaccines for a fee. Emails which appear to be from the NHS offering COVID vaccine appointme
