Covid Vaccine Scams

Updated: Feb 27, 2021

Scammers have been very active of late by email, text and now phone such as:

  • claiming they can arrange covid vaccines for a fee.

  • Emails which appear to be from the NHS offering COVID vaccine appointments

The NHS is the only organisation that has access to the vaccine and will never ask for payment. If you are contacted, please do not engage with the fraudsters. The NHS is currently contacting eligible people but if you are asked for money it is not a genuine call, text or email.

Please follow the advice given by cyber-crime prevention:

  • Do not click on links in unknown texts - always check it first

  • If you receive a phone call offering you a vaccine for money, put the phone down

  • Do not click on email links unless you are absolutely sure of the sender

  • NEVER give out your personal details.
